The Information Technology Industry Development Association (ITIDA), is a governmental association that is an affiliate of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

This Authority’s main object is to develop a rigid, and high quality SW development industry in Egypt. Based on that vision, we have worked with Microsoft, in order convince ITIDA of funding the spread of VS ALM tools (Formerly known as VSTS 2005) across 50 small and medium promising SW factories.

The project last for 12 months and achieved an outstanding success to the extent that it has been extended with Phase 2 with extra 30 companies that implemented Version 2008.

The leader of DPE team in Egypt at this time was Eng. Ahmed Adel.

A Similar project as the Egyptian one has been funded by Microsoft Arabia in the public sector of Saudi Arabia. We have cooperated with the DPE team in Microsoft Arabia that has been lead at this Time by Ammar Abu Thuraya.

We penetrated lots of public sector customers that work in different verticals including but not limited to; Defense, ICT, Health, Industry, Oil & GAS, and Education.

The program succeeded and helped in make the market gates wide open to the new VSTS/ALM product offering.

This is an Arab League Authority; it is considered as one of the most prestigious Maritime academy as well as consultancy house all over the world. Its president is a member in the Executive Board of International Maritime Organization (IMO) that acts as IATA of Oceans, and Seas. Having world-class systems that are being developed in-house is a major success factor. CompuPharaohs worked there to convince decision maker to go for the Microsoft ALM tools choice not for any other competitor due to the end-to-end ALM coverage that this solution delivers. Twenty five Ultimate decisions have been used in this project.

This is a historical engagement of CompuPharaohs that has been documented by a World-Class Case Study by the ALM Product Team at Microsoft Headquarter. This success story has been referred to by the Great Brian Harry(Microsoft Senior Vice President, and the founder of this business line in Microsoft) in one of his blogs.
